Her transition from bedside care to leadership wasn’t easy: navigating unfamiliar systems and battling imposter syndrome tested her resilience. But Alicia’s determination led her to earn dual Master’s degrees—in Executive Nurse Leadership and Healthcare-focused Business Administration—arming her with the skills to thrive. Through leading nurse teams, she saw firsthand the critical need for practical business skills and support in healthcare leadership. Today, Alicia is on a mission to transform the healthcare landscape by empowering female nurses and leaders to break barriers and create lasting impact. Partnering with Mandi Rishel, Alicia inspires nurses to seize new opportunities and step confidently into leadership roles.

Meet Mandi—a compassionate, driven, and resourceful healthcare professional with over 25 years of diverse experience. From her early days as a medical assistant in pediatrics to 15+ years at the bedside in Labor & Delivery and High-Risk Obstetrics, Mandi’s journey has been deeply rooted in patient care and advocacy. In the latter part of her career, Mandi transitioned into leadership roles on the business side of healthcare, where her impact only grew. With expertise in operations, client relations, and team development, she brings a rare blend of clinical insight and strategic acumen. Mandi is fiercely passionate about transforming healthcare and firmly believes that nurse leaders are the key to driving meaningful, lasting change.
